You ask due to lack of anything else to say. You have the instinct to pull her along, but again, you don’t. You don’t want to startle her again. You’ve done enough today to upset her, you suppose. You stare at her cane and follow it’s line of direction, actually not surprised when you find it lines up perfectly with the cafe.

i think i know this place! dave showed it to me a while ago. he really wanted to go but we haven’t exactly gotten the chance yet. oh boy, he is going to be so jealous when he finds out.

You snicker a bit, quite amused by the thought.

You raise an eyebrow, glad that John recognizes it but still a little surprised.  You’d thought of it as a not-very-well known place, sort of a secret to you and a few of your college friends, but apparently John and Dave were part of the “in” crowd as well.

I’ve found it’s wonderful food for an affordable price, well within a student’s meager budget.  It works out well for when I tire of the dining hall’s options, but don’t want to travel all the way into the city for options.
