playing the piano is something you can’t really use sight on. yeah, it helps you learn to read music, but actually playing is all touch. once you know where you are in the octave, it always follows the same pattern. that’s something you have to memorize on touch, even if you can see. if you tried to learn on sight, you’d never get any good, so you should have an edge up on a lot of people
