And wow, I had no idea that’s what they did for skis. I thought you just grabbed some and went.

There’s supposedly a marked increase in efficiency when you’re using the right size of ski.

The guide asks you for your height, and you reply, allowing her to go find you a pair that fit.  She points Jade to the other sales assistant to help her.
