I appreciate it. It is a great deal easier when the words don’t arrive in my mind as ciphered clusters of letters and numbers which require repeated listening to decode and properly comprehend.
To put it bluntly: most other versions of me can see. Upon encountering me, a Rose Lalonde who is nearly identical to them, but for the one fashion in which I am identifiably Different, they respond in one of two predictable ways: either they show an uncomfortable degree of fascination, or an unsavory amount of pity. I care for neither with regards to my condition, and it’s pointless to engage in such conversations after a while.
