That’s the general point, yes, Terezi.  It may come as a shock to you to hear, but our dear friend David actually has feelings and emotions of his own, which he succeeds in hiding only through his guise of irony and coolness.  I think you’ll see that he may have admitted to a great many things that he may not have otherwise without the crutch of irony upon which to rest.

I’m not sure how to respond to your own appraisal of the legal system, other than to say that your logic is rather confusing and doesn’t quite convince me.

Well, thank you, Terezi.  It certainly feels good to have others place their faith in my intellectual abilities, and I suppose I should be grateful to have that, even if it comes without eyesight.  Insight, after all, is a much more important quality, wouldn’t you say?
