You never before had seen Rose filled with so much joy, and after each run it made your heart feel a little lighter and happier. When she would embrace you, you couldn’t help but hold her back tightly, and sometimes give her a kiss on the forehead out of joy.
Towards the end of the day, at the end of the final run, when she pulls you in to give her a kiss, you instead stand on your toes (at least, as much as you can when in skis) and give her a quick kiss on the lips, and you don’t think you can smile any wider after pulling that.
