You blink a few times, surprised by Rose’s sudden kiss, and yet, you smile, returning the kiss quickly to her, your cheeks a light shade of pink. Do you think maybe we should head home and try and warm up now?

When she parts from the kiss, you feel imbued with all of the warmness and the glowing, blissful energy in the world, and you cheerfully nod in response to her question, disregarding the guide’s somewhat awkward response (or lack thereof) to the entire situation.  After thanking her for her guidance, you strip off your skis and sling them over your shoulder, using the poles as a makeshift cane until Jade’s ready herself.  Then, organically, you slip your hand around her arm and let her lead you to return your gear and pick up your things from the rental facility.
