Despite her apparent frustration, you’re fairly sure she’s going to get a whole lot better quite fast now. Having a piano may very well help that along.

You thank him when he corrects you and try again, and you sound a little bit better.  It’s not perfect, by any stretch of the imagination, but it’s clear that your skills will improve with time, now that you have the hang of it.

A great deal of practice, I’m sure, and having done it for a long time.  In conjunction, those two variables can allow a person to do great things.
